欧阳中石，1928年生，山东泰安人。中国当代书法家、教育家、书法理论家、京剧艺术家。早年拜在京剧大师奚啸伯的门下。现任首都师范大学教授、博士生导师、中国书法文化研究所所长。同时是全国政协委员、中国书法家协会顾问、中国画研究院院务委员、艺术品中国资深艺术顾问、山东省方志馆名誉馆长。毕业于北京大学。现为首都师范大学教授、博士生导师，全国政协委员、中国书法家协会顾问、中国画研究院院务委员。学书先从师武岩法师，后又师从吴玉如。从唐碑入手旋即转临北魏诸墓志；后亦曾涉足于篆、隶、甲骨、金文，尤于欧阳询诸碑临池最勤。多作行书，宗法二王。草书以王羲之、孙过庭为宗。书风妍婉秀美，潇洒俊逸，既有帖学之流美，又具碑学之壮大。作品多次入选国内外重大书法展览及在报刊发表，或被美术馆、博物馆收藏。尤致力于书学教育工作，在首都师范学院创建书法艺术专业，并兼任北京数家高等学校书法艺术顾问和中国书画函授大学书法艺术顾问和中国书画函授大学书法部主任。现为首都师范大学教授，中国书法家协会顾问。其主要作品集有《欧阳中石书沈鹏诗词选》、《当代名家楷书谱·朱子家训》、《中石夜读同钞》、《中石钞读清照词》、《老子道德经书卷》、《朱子治家格言》、《欧阳中石书古文辞》、《道德经》等，主要著作有《中国逻辑史》、《中国逻辑思想史教程》、《书法与中国文化》、《中国书法史鉴》、《书法教程》、《书法教学参考资料》、《中国的书法》、《章草便检》、《学书津梁丛书》、《章草字典》等，录制出版了《中石唱念自娱》、《白帝城》、《乌龙院》、《武家坡》等光盘，撰写了《中华颂》、《中华美德颂》、《齐鲁颂》、《泰山颂》等诗篇。
Ouyang Zhongshi, born in 1928, is a native of Tai'an, Shandong Province. He is a contemporary Chinese calligrapher, educator, calligraphy theorist and Peking Opera artist. In his early years, he studied under the master of Peking Opera, Xi Xiaobo. He is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor and director of the Institute of Chinese Calligraphy Culture at Capital Normal University. He is also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), an advisor to the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the China Academy of Painting, a senior art advisor to Artworks China, and an honorary curator of the Fangzhi Museum of Shandong Province. Graduated from Beijing University. Now he is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Capital Normal University, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), an advisor of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and a member of the Board of Directors of the China Academy of Painting. He studied calligraphy first with Master Wuyan and then with Wu Yuru. He started with the Tang stele and then moved on to the tombstones of the Northern Wei Dynasty; later on, he also dabbled in seal script, official script, oracle bone and gold script, and was especially diligent in Ouyang Xun's steles. He wrote a lot of running script, following the example of Wang Xizhi and Sun Xizhi. In cursive script, Wang Xizhi and Sun Shuting were his disciples. His style of calligraphy is graceful, elegant, and elegant, with both the beauty of postalism and the strength of monumentalism. His works have been selected for major calligraphy exhibitions at home and abroad, published in newspapers and magazines, or collected by art galleries and museums. He is especially devoted to the education of calligraphy, and has created a major in Calligraphy at the Capital Normal University, and also serves as a consultant to several higher education institutions in Beijing, and as a consultant to the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University, and as the Director of the Calligraphy Department of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. He is now a professor at Capital Normal University and an advisor to the Chinese Calligraphers Association. His main works include “Ouyang Zhongshi Shen Peng Poetry Selection”, “Contemporary Famous Regular Script Spectrum - Zhu Zi Family Tradition”, “Zhongshi Night Reading with Notes”, “Zhongshi Notes Reading Qingzhao Lyrics”, “Lao Zi Tao Te Ching Volume”, “Zhu Zi's Words for Ruling the Family”, “Ouyang Zhongshi Ancient Writings”, and “Tao Te Ching”, etc. His major works include “The History of Chinese Logic”, “The Tutorial of History of Logical Ideas in China”, “Calligraphy and Chinese Culture”, “A Historical Appreciation of Calligraphy”, and “History of Calligraphy”, “History of Calligraphy”. Calligraphy History, Calligraphy Tutorial, Calligraphy Teaching Reference Materials, Calligraphy in China, Chapter and Cursive Handicrafts, Learning Calligraphy Jinliang Series, Chapter and Cursive Dictionary, etc. He has recorded and published CD-ROMs of Zhongshi's Singing and Numinous Self-indulgence, Baidi City, Wulongyuan, and Wujiapo, and written poems of Ode to China, Ode to Chinese Virtue, Ode to Qilu, and Ode to Taishan, etc. He is also a member of the Chinese Academy of Arts and Sciences.

近期我公司征集到一幅欧阳中石的书法作品《朝朝暮暮逐流光》。纵观本次藏品，用笔厚重朴实、圆融含蓄，格调清新高雅，沉着端庄。结字、取势、布局皆独具匠心。书风妍婉隽养，潇洒俊逸，飘逸而沉稳、刚健而温润、灵动而厚重。行文内容摘自欧阳中石给其老师季羡林先生写的诗，全文“朝朝暮暮逐流光，四季轮兴信未央。西雨潇潇秋渐老，春风紫气荟东方。”。诗文寓意欧阳中石对东方文化充满信心，西学东渐，本身就表明了东西文化的互动互容。一切适应社会发展需要的文化成果，必然是并行不悖，彼此相容的。书法作品不仅在于字形字体如何优美，如何出奇，更重要的是所书表达的意境、情怀，那些有针对性、有现实感、审时度势、直指人心的作品便是上品。
Recently, our company collected a piece of Ouyang Zhongshi's calligraphy work “Morning, Night and Day by Streaming Light”. Throughout the collection, the brushwork is heavy and simple, round and subtle, and the style is fresh and elegant, calm and dignified. The character formation, trend and layout are all unique and ingenious. The style of writing is elegant and refined, elegant and handsome, flowing and calm, robust and warm, dynamic and heavy. The text is extracted from a poem written by Ouyang Zhongshi to his teacher, Mr. Ji Xianlin, which reads, “As I move from day to day, the seasons revolve around me. The western rain is getting old in autumn, and the spring breeze is purple in the east.” The poem is an allegory of Ouyang Zhongyi's life. The poem implies that Ouyang Zhongshi is full of confidence in the Eastern culture, and that the gradual development of Western learning in the East itself indicates the interaction and mutual compatibility of Eastern and Western cultures. All the cultural achievements adapted to the needs of social development must be parallel and compatible with each other. Calligraphy not only lies in the character font how beautiful, how strange, more importantly, the book expressed the mood, feelings, those targeted, realistic, judging the situation, straight to the heart of the work is the best.
